The Paris
Opera
ArsNova has taken over the patronage of the Paris Opera initiated by Taittinger and is now a patron of the Opera's cultural outreach programmes.

An exceptional artistic institution with a rich history of more than 350 years of artistic practice and welcoming the greatest opera and ballet artists, the Paris Opera is an institution that has inspired generations of audiences from all over the world but which can sometimes seem inaccessible.

That is why the Opera has been launching specific programmes for several years now, with the aim of opening the doors of its history and its theatres to as many people as possible. These initiatives enable new audiences to discover the richness of its programme and support the artistic education of many young people.
ArsNova is associated with this policy of cultural openness by supporting two of its activities:
1. The Paris Opera Academy and more specifically 4 of its programmes:
Dix mois d'Ecole et d'Opéra (Ten months of school and opera): for almost thirty years, this programme has enabled pupils from priority education networks to be introduced to the world of opera and dance. 900 pupils from nursery school to vocational college benefit from rehearsals, performances, theatre visits and artistic workshops (music, singing, dance, theatre, visual arts, etc.) during school hours.
A.D.O (Apprentissage de l'Orchestre) is a collective instrumental and vocal practice programme for students from 11 conservatories in Paris and Seine Saint-Denis. They benefit from weekly work sessions in the conservatoires, visits and rehearsals at the Paris Opera, group singing and dance workshops one Saturday a month, and perform at an end-of-year concert on the main stage at the Bastille.
Serment d'Opéra (Opéra Pledge): This programme supports hospitalised patients and healthcare professionals through artistic practice, the result of a collaboration with the Sainte-Anne Hospital Centre of the Paris GHU psychiatry group. Patients have agreed to take part with healthcare staff in dance workshops led by two dancers from the Paris Opera Ballet. A photo exhibition was held at the end of this first collaboration.
Oper'Apprentis: this artistic practice programme is open to more than 500 young adults in apprenticeships in various fields (sales, pastry making, mechanics, sewing, etc.). Artists, choreographers, musicians and directors organise workshops that tie in with the apprentices' training (dance to increase spatial awareness, singing to learn how to use the voice, theatre to work as a team, etc.).
2. The recording of one performance per season, to be added to the Summer Opera catalogue.
This platform allows town halls and regional councils to take advantage of these recordings free of charge so that they can organise screenings of Paris Opera performances on special summer evenings for their residents and visiting tourists.

At the same time, many beneficiaries of associations supported by ArsNova enjoy shows, rehearsals and organised visits to the Opéra Garnier and the Opéra Bastille.
A tour is offered to enable them to discover the Opera and its Arts before going there, so that this discovery is easier for these audiences who may feel too far removed from this institution.
