This competition, which is held in nine countries, encourages creativity every year around a flagship product, which is showcased in national finals and then an international final.

Now under the aegis of the ArsNova Philanthropic Endowment Fund and its activities dedicated to the culinary arts, the Prize strengthens the commitment of its chefs and winners by involving them in initiatives aimed at promoting healthy, sustainable food that is accessible to all.

Gala dinners are organised to announce the national winners and for the international final, raising funds for an association that shares the values of ArsNova.

‘The Taittinger has stood the test of time and today brings together a wonderful family of generous chefs. The time has come for it to expand and embrace another dimension. In a context where transmission is no longer, or hardly ever, taking place within the family, we believe it is important to educate the younger generations in taste, to make them want to treat themselves and others to the pleasure of cooking. It is also a way of embracing the richness of all cultures and sharing it through the flavours of the table, of re-enchanting this natural theatre of discussion.’

President of the Taittinger Champagne House, Founder of Philanthropic ArsNova and member of the Board of Directors
